Our Story

Welcome Friends, we’re so glad you’re here!

In 1995 we created our first retail venture, an inspirational store in upstate NY. It was a vocation born from the passing of a beloved family member which deepened our spiritual journey.

We knew from our first visit to Martha’s Vineyard, that someday we would make this beautiful island our home. We fell in love with and were deeply inspired by the natural beauty and simplicity of living. In 2002, we made the big move to The Vineyard to pursue our dream of creating a spiritual store called Sanctuary.

As spiritual seekers, we strive to deepen our awareness of life and our understanding of our place in it. We are Shamanic Energy Medicine Practitioners which inspires us to bring our knowledge of energy and healing to all that we do.

After 18 years of owning and operating our dream retail store, we have stepped into a new chapter of our lives. In January 2020, we sold Sanctuary and are now focusing fully on our energy work and growing The Life Divine.

It is our intention to ensure that every item we offer is of the highest quality and also to support the small businesses like ourselves, that created them. 

The Life Divine is dedicated to the loving memory of Mildred Imbimbo and Ferdinando Chiaravalle.
